WeTeach_CS T-Shirt Design Contest

Do you have a WeTeach_CS t-shirt from last year’s Summit? How would YOU like to create the design for the 2019 WeTeach_CS Summit shirt?

The winner will receive a free registration to the 2019 WeTeach_CS Summit ($400 value!) and be recognized at the 2019 WeTeach_CS Summit. See below for details and parameters. Good luck!

  • The design must incorporate the WeTeach_CS logo
  • Please include your preferred t-shirt color along with your design submission (black, white, or UT burnt orange!)
  • Front design only, please!
  • Enter as many submissions as you like (feel free to pull on student artists) but only eligible attendees may win (no vendors or students)
  • Deadline for submissions: March 1, 2019

Official Contest Rules

  1. The contest is open to any educator who would like to attend the WeTeach_CS Summit, with the exception of exhibitors/vendors.
  2. All entries must be original creations of the contestant that incorporates the WeTeach_CS brand (i.e. colors, trademarks, or logos) into the design, has never been published, and does not contain profanity, trademarks, logos, or copyrighted works of any other person or business.
  3. The prize is a free registration to the 2019 WeTeach_CS Summit ($400 value!) and being recognized at the 2019 WeTeach_CS Summit.
  4. The winning design will remain the property of The University of Texas at Austin, and will not be returned to you. UT Austin may use the winning design at any time after the contest. The winner may display their own design in a portfolio or personal collection, but may not sell or reproduce the design for any other purpose once submitted to the contest.
  5. A panel of judges from the STEM Center at UT Austin will choose the top submission.
  6. The contest begins on January 11, 2019 and all entries must be received by 5 p.m. on March 1, 2019.
  7. WeTeach_CS reserves the right to terminate this contest at any time, effective on the date of issuing the termination notice, and we are under no obligation to give notice prior to the date of termination.
  8. You agree that if you submit an entry, you will sign an assignment and release form prepared by us acknowledging your acceptance and understanding of the complete contest rules including that the winning design is the property of UT Austin.
  9. This contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws.
  • The entry should be accompanied by your name and contact information submitted via this Google Form.
  • The entry may be drawn or printed on 8-1/2” x 11” paper or the entry may be any of the following art file formats if submitted electronically: .AI, .JPG, .PDF, .PNG or .PSD. (Dimensions: 12" x 12")
  • The University's brand colors should be incorporated in the design with the design intended for use on either a white, burnt orange or black t-shirt as well as the WeTeach_CS logo.
  • Use of the STEM Center’s institutional logo is permitted, however, permission must be requested by emailing our Communications Coordinator Christian Bazan at christian.bazan@utexas.edu.
  • We reserve the right to pick one entry, more than one entry, or no entries as the winning entry.
