WeTeach_CS Summit 2019: presentation proposals now being accepted

WeTeach_CS Presenter Proposals

Presentation proposals for the WeTeach_CS Summit to be held June 17-19, 2019 in Georgetown, TX are being accepted. As you submit your proposal please keep the following in mind:

- Sessions will be 1 hour in length
- Wifi internet access will be available for you and participants
- Participants will be asked to bring their own devices, please specify in your description if your session is device specific
- Interactive and engaging proposals of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • block-based coding
  • building a K-12 CS pipeline
  • camps and after-school programs
  • classroom resources (for beginning and experienced teachers)
  • cloud-based computing
  • computational thinking
  • cybersecurity
  • equity and inclusion
  • integration of computer science into other subjects
  • K-5 resources
  • robotics
  • school counselors and computer science
  • teacher externship and industry engagement
  • text-based coding

PROPOSALS ARE NOW CLOSED (February 1st, 2019)


Accepted presenters will be notified no later than January 25, 2019 and educators who are accepted will be provided a discount code for $100 off their registration.
