Karina Mendez Perez

Graduate Research Assistant


Karina Mendez Perez is a second year STEM Education Ph.D. student. She completed her undergraduate studies at Trinity University and received her BS in Neuroscience. Her research interests focus on linguistically diverse students’ sensemaking of science practices as well as social justice-centered science teaching and learning. Currently, Karina is a graduate research assistant for Professor González-Howard.
